PET - or polyethylene terephthalate is the most common type of plastic worldwide and the basis for polyester. Newly produced polyester does not have a good ecological balance because it is made from increasingly scarce oil.

However, more and more companies are processing recycled polyester, which is produced sustainably. Used plastic is melted down and spun into new fibers.

Sustainable production in Europe

Only post consumer PET is used for our PET. The raw materials for polyester production come primarily from the EU with short delivery routes. Yarns (in Europe) are produced from the polyester. Our partners use the latest knitting and weaving machines to produce our fabrics from recycled polyester yarns. The lowest possible waste and continuous process optimization are very important here. The process is certified by ISO 9001, ISO 50002 and is also constantly checked for water hazards. The PET textiles are already being finished based on future standards. 100% of the production takes place in Germany and is 100% PVC-free.

Our aluminum frames last forever, the system behind them is used for constant reuse by exchanging the fabric prints depending on the interior design, campaign or current collection. In addition, the modular system of our frames offers the possibility to expand it easily and to realize larger formats at a later date.
